Fermentation:
Harvested in boxes in mid-September. Stripped, trodden and fermented in stainless steel for 29 days, with daily pumping over.
Barrel aging:
8 months in 225-litre French oak barrels.
Bottling:
June 2019.
Vines:
This wine comes from grapes from Les Salanques, a group of gobelet vines more than 50 years old grown on llicorella soils in the municipality of Poboleda.
Analysis:
Alcohol: 17.27% vol.
Total acidity: 5.8 g/l tartaric acid.
Volatile acidity: 0.77 g/l acetic acid.
Total sulphur: 25 mg/l.
Sugars: 0.80 g/l.
